Assembled a brushless DC motor controller for Lux, CalSMV's current competition car

- Used column generation and labeling algorithms to determine the most efficient route (considering both time and energy) for a fleet of electric vehicles given a list of destinations and chargers- Wrote a script that generated data simulating real-life conditions to test and evaluate the algorithm- Added clustering, trimming, custom boundary, and custom time features for data generation- Implemented multiprocessing to speed up the algorithm and the data-generation script by 10x- Solved a python multiprocess library and Windows issue, was previously forced to use Jupyterhub- Independently searched for improvements or potential features and proposed them during meetings

- Improved the CI/CD workflow through speeding up the GitHub Action run on all pull requests by 35%- Learned how to use Docker, Kubernetes, Bash, GitHub Actions, Windows Subsystem for Linux- Participated in code reviews with a senior engineer and gained feedback on writing more readable code- Created and updated tickets regularly and communicated with other team members to get help when needed- Wrote and updated documentation for the faster testing function I created- Read academic articles and discussed them with the rest of the infra team in bi-weekly meetings
