Using Tekla, AutoCAD and PGX I layout designs thought up by our engineers to create a bill of materials often catching errors. Will troubleshoot with engineers and help them come up with a design that works within the scope. If it is a major problem we will talk to our CAD team and have them reconstruct the drawings as necessary. Once the design is complete, Wildeck has a new ERP system that we have been customizing over the past 2 years (Epicor), I will enter all of the products into Epicor and make sure everything is uploaded correctly for our shop to see and work with. Throughout the business week my department will have meetings to discuss what we might be able to do better or implement a new strategy to making our processes flow better so we can have a better turn around time. I have been involved in a few LEAN comities to sort our what is slowing us down and put processes on paper so we can visually knockout some of our problems when we can and so we don't lose sight on the projects at hand.
