This groundbreaking appliance is loaded with features like bulk detergent & fabric softener, 120V, ventless, Energy Efficient, conveniently located 2 stage lint filter, and countless more!As program manager, I was responsible for leading, managing, and working cross functionally with team members based in Louisville, Qingdao, Shanghai, Seoul, & Nuremberg as we researched, designed, developed, tested, and launched the UltraFast Combo. I managed the schedule, NPI tollgate reviews, and frequent stakeholder updates on progression and program milestones.The fearless team members overcame countless design and economic hurdles. This has been a truly unbelievable program and truly honored to lead these remarkable teams completing the goal of revolutionizing the laundry industry. The Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) is a fast track program for early in their career design engineers that trains/exposes them to technical positions within appliance product lines (Laundry, Range, Refrigeration, Dishwasher, etc.). While still a full-time undergraduate and graduate at U of L, I completed 3 full-time and 6 part-time coop rotations at GE as a technical support for new product development, product cost out and advanced systems development. I was able to apply college engineering classes to the projects I was focused on during each rotation.
