In this role I handle transactions of second-hand electronic goods and media. This involves till work, customer service, product testing and ecommerce. This job has required an understanding of technology such as consoles, cameras, audio technology and mobile phones, as well as keeping up to date with the latest releases in film, television and video games.

From September 2022 to January 2023 I worked on a freelance basis for Comic Book Resources via their website CBR.com. In this role my primary responsibilities were the production of features that explore the vast world of comics in ways that interest readers online. This could take the form of pitching my own ideas for articles, or writing ones chosen by an editor. Search engine optimisation was also a large part of this role.

While at Goalkeeper.com I played a key role in ideating, creating and publishing original Editorial content. Using creative research techniques to procure in-depth information around football’s most unique position, I embraced learning about a new side of the game and creating quality content to match. Writing primarily medium and long form feature articles, I have developed my storytelling skills. I also supported social media content output and collaborated on copywriting projects for the brand and its affiliate partners.

While in my final year of university I worked as a bartender for Playground nightclub in Manchester. During this time I was expected to work quickly and efficiently in high-stress situations, without sacrificing quality of service or customer experience. My main responsibilities were to pour drinks using standard legal measurements, handle transactions, and assess whether or not customers were too intoxicated to serve. I was also asked to maintain health and safety standards on the facility floor and to replenish stock behind the bar.

In this role I assisted customers with their shopping experience. This included operating tills and working behind the customer service desk. Later in my time in the role I was given some supervisory responsibilities where necessary.I returned temporarily to this role for the festive period in both 2019 and 2020.
