I will be starting at Columbia University Orthopedics as the 6-year research track resident beginning in June, 2024. My first year will be dedicated entirely to research and starting my career as an academic orthopedic surgeon before diving into my 5-year surgical training in 2025.

I am currently pursuing an MD/MSCR at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with an expected graduation of May, 2024.

Worked under Dr. Emily Stein at the Hospital for Special Surgery since June, 2017. Full time research assistant from 2017-2019 before matriculating to Mount Sinai for medical school. Have continued work with her since that time, including my thesis project for my MSCR. In that time we have published over 10 manuscripts together and co-authored over a dozen posters/oral presentations at national conferences from multiple retrospective and prospective trials that we begun together.

During undergraduate studies, I was part of a basic science oncology lab looking at the use of viruses as potential immunotherapy for lung cancer. I worked with Dr. Patel and Dr. Kratzke for 2 summers, earning 2 grants from Macalester College, including one sponsored by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

I worked with Dr. Saadi Ghatan doing literature and chart review for a retrospective study on AVMs in pediatric patients.
