Responsible for management of Local Market Access Software (LMAS) and integration with existing ETRM for ShortTerm Power trading group.

I develop and support proprietary commodity trading software (ETRM). Our company trades electric power, natural gas, LNG, NGL with operations spread on three global markets (US, Europe, Asia). I am an expert in operations of: • Front Office• Risk management (Mid Office)• Gas Scheduling• Back Office• Finance• Compliance and other areas. Our software development process is organized by Agile Scrum method, demanding from me to be self-motivated and communicate with all team members in multicultural environment. Continuous learning and global system knowledge are major parts of my job. Maintenance of all systems is a daily task.Achievements (key projects):• Electric Power management tools for ERCOT. A suite of applications including Cost/Quantity allocation database, X12-based API, REST API report downloader, Automated ERCOT trade entry. System integrates in-house ETRM with ERCOT, 8 TDSPs, Smart Meter Texas, and allows performing all needed trading functions.• Gas scheduling software app allowing direct nominations (and actualizations) from main ETRM on 21 pipelines via EDI (X12). I've lead the project from zero start to complete automation and acceptance by users. Resulted in elimination of $750K imbalance and reducing scheduling workforce from 10 to 4.• Upgrade of risk analysis module for US markets. I created specifications (described principals of risk and app workflows), user documentation and performed testing and general guidance during development phase. Enabled middle office to see millions of dollars of additional hidden risk.• Shale gas netback application calculating netback prices for over 3000 shale gas wells. I turned the project around after 3-year standstill ultimately recreating it in Excel / VBA. Developed supporting applications, corrected technical and organizational failures. Reduced monthly workload from four weeks to one.Completed 2.5 years expatriation assignment in Paris, France between 2011 and 2013.

Position was a dual role between Energy Analyst and Web-based Application DeveloperEnergy Analyst part included:• Excel modeling and data analysis• Construction and update of crude oil pricing models: forecasts and netbacks• Maintenance of crude quality banks and crude assay database• Preparation of crude assays for PIMS softwareWeb-based Application Development part covered the following:• Development of web-based applications including seminar maintenance and online payment processing• Publishing of company online reports• Database development in PHP/MySQL/Linux to handle real time PLATTS’ data • Administration of Linux servers, online databases and user accounts• Work with IT contractors and service providers• User support on all kinds of technical issues

Position involved technical analysis of investment possibilities on Russian oil market: • Conducted investment feasibility valuations of oil production fields, refineries and marketing networks• Performed financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting • Developed investment evaluation methodologies • Prepared financial models for $500 MM project loan backed up by US Export Import bank
