Responsible for supervising hourly employees and executing production and logistics plans and overall operations of assigned area/shift to include: warehouse, labor relations, production, site security, quality, safety and regulatory compliance. Execution of production and/or logistics plans (receiving, processing, mixing, baking, packaging, shipping, etc.), shift change management and communication, daily production standards and labor reconciliation. Responsible for ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility. Operates production lines in accordance with Food and Drug Administration guidelines. Responsible for team development of employees to insure proper mixing, machining, packaging and logistics in assigned areas according to targeted specifications, to achieve total quality. Help to develop new Operations Supervisors in all responsibilities and promote a positive attitude.Responsible for problem solving process to resolve and/or mitigate those operational issues result in negative performance.Responsible for support of Lean TrainingEnsure adherence to all standard work processes. Responsible for compliance with all regulations. Food safety – plant in proper sanitary condition at all times, including allergen control, pest control, guidelines followed. Compliance with food safety policies and procedures. Compliance with employee safety policies and procedures.Participate in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Training.Administer the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement/work rules and company policies and procedures in a consistent manner, and attempt to resolve grievance and disputes on the floor whenever possible.Maintain understanding of processes and functional. Recognize and escalate opportunities to improve plant performance.
