Currently working as a Specialist Clinical Technologist for NHS Forth Valley, Clinical Technologists manage the risk and life cycle of medical devices including maintaining, calibrating, and repairing complex medical devices across a wide range of clinical areas.Responsible for performing Periodic Preventative Maintenance on various types of medical equipment - including Syringe Drivers and Pumps, Patient monitoring devices, ECG's etc as well as performing these checks in GP surgeries in the Heath Board area.Recent Specialisation in theatres, where duties include PPM of Anaesthetic machines, endoscopy stacks and other theatre equipment Other duties include repair, protocol writing, part ordering.Previous Employment includes my role as an EMC engineer for Leonardo MW; I helped to support and coordinate the execution and timely completion of EMC Testing, design and qualification engineering projects. I was so the EMC lab manager, so was responsible for the health and Safety associated with the Laboratory including writing GRAs, safety inductions and safe working practices.
