Human Resource Manager
Current-Manage the life cycle and personnel functions of the Air National Guard officer and enlisted members on the Statutory Tour program. Focal point of contact for all personnel nominated/selected for the Stat Tour program.-Day-to-day management and supervision of personnel and data requires an NCO with extensive experience in Air Force and ANG military personnel procedures to ensure effective utilization of manpower resources, data development, and analysis. This position requires extensive contact with Secretary of the Air Force (SAF), Air force Personnel Center (AFPC), Air Reserve Personnel Center (ARPC), Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS), Air Staff agencies and ANG state headquarters. This position also requires daily interaction with senior officers and civilians.- Assists Directors in planning, organizing, and managing personnel actions pertaining to Air National Guard Officers and Enlistment members on Statutory Tour. Manages the quality control over all officer and enlisted member actions, to include coordination with Air Staff agencies, ARPC, and Headquarters Air Force, MAJCOMs and State Headquarters. Interprets Air Force and Air National Guard directives and procedures for managing accession and separation approval. Ensures timeliness, propriety and accuracy of transactions. - Manages the ANG military vacancy processes. Provides assistance to offices to ensure the content of the military vacancy announcement (MVA) is accurate and complete. Ensures the selection process is fair and equitable when a nominee is identified.
