I am a driven and resilient student majoring in Communications and Political Science with a strong passion for advocacy, equity, and societal impact. My journey began with overcoming significant personal challenges, which instilled in me a deep sense of purpose and determination. Today, I use my experiences to drive positive change and create opportunities for others.My academic journey reflects my commitment to excellence and intellectual curiosity. As a Dean’s List honoree and member of the Honors Transfer Program, I’ve explored diverse topics through research, such as the societal impact of rhetoric in political discourse and the historical implications of American imperialism on Filipino migration. These projects reflect my interdisciplinary approach, combining politics, law, and social justice with the art of communication.Beyond academics, I’ve dedicated myself to leadership and community engagement. As a Student Government Senator and member of the Student Equity, Equal Employment, and Diversity Committee (SEEED), I’ve worked to advocate for marginalized groups, foster inclusivity, and implement equity initiatives. I also contribute to civic engagement through voter registration efforts with the League of Women Voters.I take pride in my ability to adapt, innovate, and communicate effectively—qualities that have allowed me to transform challenges into opportunities for growth.
