A Chartered Engineer with a passion for innovation and design excellence within the Built Environment. With over 15 years’ experience working in the UK, Europe, US, New Zealand and the Pacific Region, I have delivered projects ranging from small seismic strengthening designs on remote locations through to large sports stadia and high-rise buildings in the centre of large global cities. Key projects include:• Conceived and led the development of The Beacon System, an innovative seismic triage system for post-disaster response, including the development of a client facing mobile app.• RBG Group Digital Design & Innovation Lead – responsible for coordinating and promoting digital innovations around the global business. • Building Code • Structural Design lead on a wide range of development projects, including sport stadia, commercial office buildings and high rise. • Project Management of multidisciplinary design teams from concept development through to on site construction delivery. • Design lead on a range of heritage structural refurbishment and seismic strengthening projects to increase the resilience and functionality of historic venues and buildings. • Disaster Risk Management consulting, including review of post disaster contingency planning and portfolio resilience reviews to inform strategic upgrades.With a focus on holistic end user led design, I believe that any project should meet the end user requirements and understanding the holistic design drivers, integrating architectural and MEP with the structural systems, will allow client aspirations to be achieved.
