I'm a writer and filmmaker with an eye for personal stories. With over five years of journalism experience, I excel at crafting short and long-form narratives of human connection and global scope. As part of the research team of the viral podcast "Dark History with Bailey Sarian," I help resurrect untold and forgotten pieces of history for a modern audience while writing for a specific voice and format. I also created the brand new web-series "The Kill Plan" for the popular horror YouTube channel How to Beat. I have interned at Allied Global Marketing as the College Ambassador for Warner Bros. Pictures, promoting their summer 2019 releases through experiential marketing activations. My writing has appeared on the internet-based publication Looper, and in Denver's alt-weekly magazine Westword. Through my research, writing, and filmmaking, I practice advocacy for human rights and environmental preservation, with a particular focus on people of color and the LGBTQ+ community. I hold a B.F.A. in Film & Television with a minor in Interdisciplinary Research Methods from the University of Colorado Denver.
