I'm Alex, I graduated in December 2023 with a marketing major at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I have a passion for connecting with people and creating engaging content for social media platforms. Most recently I worked as a brand ambassador and social media specialist for Yik Yak, a popular app for college students. I was in charge of on-campus marketing events and posting content and growing a social media account. I successfully increased the app's user base and engagement rate by 50% in 10 months, thanks to my creative and strategic approach. Before returning to college, I pursued a sales career in the car and tech industry, working for prestigious companies such as Eau Claire Ford Lincoln, Best Buy, and Team Wireless. I learned the ins and outs of the car business and the tech industry, as well as sharpened my sales skills and customer service abilities. I was promoted to the Verizon VPL at Best Buy, where I received training specific to Verizon products and services. I am eager to apply my marketing, sales, and tech skills to new and exciting opportunities I am always looking for ways to learn new things, improve myself, and contribute to the success of my team and organization.
