Overall in charge of the navigation of the Navy's newest Littoral Combat Ship. Plotted safe course to propose to the Captain; researched local port regulation, restrictions, and hazards; prepared briefs on inherently hazardous harbor transits and presented them to the ship's crew; kept senior officers up to date on constantly shifting schedule; trained fellow officers on shiphandling and navigation. This position presented numerous new challenges from my previous positions. I took on several new collateral duties I was inexperienced in including Commissioning Ceremony Officer, Assistant Operations Officer, Administration Officer, and Legal Officer. Though this position put me in charge of only 1 Chief Petty Officer, it allowed me to have a larger impact on the command as a whole.

Managed a division of 40 personnel made up of 4 work centers. Oversaw maintenance and repair of all damage control equipment onboard. Challenges included uniting fellow leadership (1 Limited Duty Officer, 1 Senior Chief, 1 Master Chief) into one mindset for the division and numerous personnel management and discipline challenges.

Participated in rigorous physical and professional training in addition to being a full time student at Drexel University.

6 month co-op position while attending Drexel University. Calibrated and monitored water quality testing stations at Philadelphia's reservoirs and major pumping stations.

When the local driving range was going to be idle the following season my father saw an opportunity to give my brothers and I an education in basic business operation. Our father provided the initial investment and oversight, however I worked with my brothers to manage the day to day operation of the small business.• Processed daily profits and funds - counted and recorded day's earnings and prepared change for the next day• Calculated, recorded and distributed pay for all five employees• Maintained the grounds - mowing the range and mini golf course, general cleaning and repairs
