I am a dedicated educator who is focused on inspiring the youth of tomorrow to become STEM innovators. With a background in curriculum development, project management, leadership, grant writing, and connection building!In my most recent position, I lead a team of professionals to provide students in secondary schools, access to high-quality collegiate STEM learning opportunities. The team was able to link Harrisburg University to outside high schools and potential students, with engaging summer programming and college in the high school or dual enrollment opportunities. The HU Secondary Schools Team worked with the local South Central PA Work Force Development board, to offer alternative learning pathways and certifications for up-skilling work-ready students. My background as an experienced adjunct professor and high school mathematics teacher, with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, provided me with the skills to connect both worlds. I am a strong education professional, who was on the Distributed Leadership team at William Penn Senior High School. I hold a dual master's degree focused in 21st Century Teaching and Learning and IT Specialist from Wilkes University. As a PA STEM Ambassador, I helped form advocacy around STEM learning from esports. I have a strong instructional design background as the YCCOSP Summer Math Instructor and NASEF Fellow where I was able to create a full course on Game Design and Esports.
