As a inventory specialist my role requires me to ensure that daily deliveries are received on to the stockfile correctly. Investigate any issues that would create an inaccurate stockfile. Creating a audit schedule for the financial year liaising with key stakeholders as when is best to audit their departments. Once each count has being completed I investigate all of the discrepancies. Create the audit report that highlights all the losses and adjustments that were made during the audit period. Cross referencing previous audits to look for patterns on higher loss brands. Keeping track of the stores KPI's for unit and stock accuracy as well as stock loss percentage versus last year.

As a stock controller for the Beauty Hall I was in charge of receiving deliveries for all of the brands on the floor. Making sure all discrepancies were all highlighted and passed to the inventory team to be adjusted accordingly. Dealing with large quantities of incoming out outgoing transfers. Ensuring all stock rooms were inline with Fire compliance and health and safety standards. Processing stock that is being returned to brand that is not selling or is faulty. Weekly conference calls with buying and merchandising teams in london to highlight any queries with stock or about news about new launches in the coming weeks.
