● Lead SCE's construction department, reporting to the VP of Operations. ● Ensure construction activities are efficient, profitable, and achieve annual goals.● Develop and manage relationships with clients, owners, and architects, ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding/enhancing the company's reputation to assure future growth.● Manage six concurrent projects in residential and commercial construction, including multifamily/military housing, commercial space expansion, and interior/exterior renovations.● Plan and direct construction activities including demolition, asbestos removal, roofing, concrete masonry, plumbing/water management systems, mechanical, electrical, and interior/exterior finishes.● Build, schedule, and supervise diverse, cross-functional project teams including engineers, technicians, trade subcontractors, assistant project/construction managers, and other staff.● Estimate and procure materials, labor, and other resources; review and approve AIA invoicing.● Monitor, control, and report direct costs, expenses, cash flow, and P&L, ensuring projects adhere to budget and schedule from initiation through closeout.Selected Projects:● U.S. Army War College, Carlisle, PA: $1.4M historical restoration of 19th century buildings involving special materials and extensive planning, scheduling, and approvals of materials and methods from a historical association.● Wyomissing Elementary School: $700K structural extension involving concrete masonry work.● U.S. Army Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, NY: $1.2M exterior restoration and new roof involving asbestos removal, logistical constraints, and an aggressive schedule.● U.S. Army Picatinny Arsenal: $800K historical housing restoration.

● Managed concurrent construction projects including office, retail, medical/surgical facilities, multifamily housing, and luxury new home construction.● Estimated costs, developed budgets, performed value engineering, and negotiated contracts and change orders with subcontractors.● Led project teams and developed close working relationships with subcontractors, architects, designers, and engineers.● Prepared project documents, including RFQs, RFIs, statements of work, schedules of values, contracts, submittals, and permit applications.Selected Projects:● Roseland Ambulatory Surgical Center, Roseland, NJ: $4M 15,000 sq. ft. surgical center including demolition and construction while partially occupied, mold removal, installation of precision medical equipment requiring specialized HVAC, electrical, and certifications, an aggressive schedule, and working extensively with owners and engineering firms.● 180 Edgewater Rd., Cliffside Park, NJ: $1.3M ground-up new construction of 3-story multifamily dwelling including excavation, utilities, parking lot, concrete, framing, podium/stick construction, mechanical, electrical, and finishes.● 387 Vance Ave., Franklin Lakes, NJ: $2.2M new construction of 6000 sq. ft. luxury home including custom-designed bath/kitchen cabinetry and marble floors from Italy, Olympic pool, patio, and cabana house.● Heidi's Bakery, Ridgewood NJ: $300K commercial renovation for owner in historical neighborhood, including demolition, framing, custom cabinetry and lighting, and installation of imported baking equipment with European electrical specifications.
