As the Field Survey Coordinator (FSC) , I am responsible for survey coordination, scheduling, technical supporting, and delivering sustainable solutions in managing and analyzing OXY Rockies Business Unit survey data, working closely with project managers, survey companies, geospatial data management subject matter experts, and business users to lead projects and engineer workflows and solutions.Some of the key responsibilities:• Coordinates with project managers to understand the survey requirements with regarding to survey types, quality, on-site surveying window and delivery schedule;• Leads the translating of survey requirements into actionable plans with well-defined success criteria, schedule, resources, workflows, safety measures, documentation, and deliveries;• Coordinates activities with survey companies, assist landowner communications, and monitor the progress to ensure survey results are delivered on time and under budget;• Coordinates the transfer of survey data to the Geomatics team for QC and interface into survey data repository;• Reviews survey data for completeness and accuracy. Work with users and validation team to provide clarification and/or interpretation for resolution to any questions or discrepancies found;• Ensures accurate and timely communication of daily operational and project related updates to stakeholders

Contract member of Halliburton/Landmark QA GIS team, responsible to assure that the latest version of the GIS module on Decision Space Geoscience (DSG) 10ep.3+ suite application, be fully functional and free of defects, before its release to the market; by performing and documenting multiple workflows and test cases, involving OpenWorks 10.6+ projects in Oracle 12+ DB; along with geospatial datasets coming from different sources such as shapefiles, FGDB, SDE, georeferenced images, GIS grids, MPK packages, AGS and WMS map services.

Member of the USA Geoscience team responsible to assure that technical data and IT resources for international exploration assets, were accurate, accessible, available and reliable in terms of quality and integrity, by performing the following:• Coordinate the process of loading and quality control of datasets (predominantly seismic and wells) coming into the subsurface interpretation databases, ensuring technical data flows seamlessly between G&G applications and corporate data storages;• Perform downloads, edits, QC, and data uploads from distinct sources and formats, to be used in preparation of all cartographic products needed during the lifecycle of exploration assessment projects, as well as to coordinate its use and availability of GIS resources among local users;• Organize, convert, update, and assure the access and availability of technical and non-technical documents to the members of the organization;• Improve the established information and data workflows, maintenance and quality control processes to contribute accordingly with the execution of exploration activities under international standards;• Assure full access for team members, to the corporate repository of data, in coordination with the Corporate Geoscience Data Management team;• Engage in a permanent and fluent communication with assets project managers and team members to minimize delays in their workflow;• Liaise with managers, team leaders, peers and vendors to improve, document, implement and enforce policies, procedures and standards for data loading, storage, preservation, capacity and quality assurance inside G&G applications;• Cooperate with Corporate Geoscience DM to improve the QC cycle of project databases.• Evaluate the insertion of new technologies, tools and procedures throughout the E&P lifecycle, in-lieu with the end-user needs, latest O&G exploration trends, and best practices;• Supervise on-site IT support to minimize downtimes in infrastructure and services.

Member of the Geoscience Client Services team responsible to provide targeted, personalized expertise, to assist IHS clients with: deploying, setting-up and optimizing their Kingdom environment; installation of Kingdom suite and licensing; database installation and assistance; system and network health check; performance project inventory, cleanup, data migration and QC; convert legacy projects to Kingdom databases; mentoring in culture, seismic, well and production data loading and basic usage; review and improve data security; address complex project management or help with data management, database and hardware/network challenges.

• Provide technical support in all tasks concerning acquisition, QC/QA, data loading/manipulation, coordinate transformation, reformatting, export/import, maintenance, update, integration, analysis and interpretation of geospatial data and products related to E&P activities.• Responsible for data loading (wells, seismic lines, logs, culture, georeferenced images) from different sources (SEG-Y’s, WCS, Tobin, SP1, UKOOA, Shapefiles, GeoTIFF files, etc) into SMT & Geographix interpretation project, for several counties/parishes in LA & TX.• Keep up-to-date E&P databases in order to prepare the cartographic products needed for seismic survey, subsurface interpretations, well drilling programs, facilities construction, pipelines, regulatory permits, lease acquisition, unitization, DOI, reserves estimation, etc.• Coordinate the process of converting, organizing and maintenance of the company’s electronic document repository, for daily uses• Responsible for preparing and executing contracts, procedures and specifications concerning positioning and mapping products for seismic surveys, well locations, facilities, pipelines, etc.• Responsible for preparing, filling and keeping update state regulatory reports for O&G wells/leases/units while in production.• IT support for all company’s daily activities (desktop application, software installations & updating, server user-accounts administration, networking, data backups, antivirus, etc).• Provide geodetic expertise and cartographic advice to E&P operations for Vetra’s affiliates in Colombia, Peru & Trinidad.

- GIS & DB coordinator in a gold mining exploration project in El Callao-Venezuela, for Gold Fields - Bolivar Gold Joint Venture (March 2005 – March 2006)- GIS Coordinator during a Venezuelan Offshore Oil & Gas Opportunity Assessment Study for ChevronExxon, from June 2004 to March 2005 (Vetra Energy AVV).- Geodesist & Cartographic Advisor in designing, editing and publishing the Venezuelan Energy Map for Petroguia between 2004 and 2009 (Grupo Editorial Producto).- Coordinator and technical support during technical proposal preparation for projects related with seismic acquisition and QC/QA of geospatial data (cartographic, cadastral and geophysical), including the GIS implementation.

Taking responsibilities as the Deputy Project Manager during short-term absences of the Project Manager at Cartosur II;Responsible for coordinating all tasks regarding processing, generation and quality control of 518, 1:50.000 scale map sheets (orthoimages and digital terrain models), based on band-X & P airborne interferometer radar for the Venezuelan cartographic institute (IGVSB);Responsible for QA/QC of preliminary and final cartographic products, prior to delivery to the client.Leader of regular working meetings for the Client-Consortium review of preliminary products to assure filling technical specifications.

Member of a multidisciplinary, highly competitive team of geoscience professionals dedicated to identifying regional exploratory targets, by integrating seismic, geologic & geochemical data with cartographic and environmental variables from remote sensing image data; Spatial GIS terrain analysis using digital data (raster and vector) to simulate height features for seismic projects; Define technical specifications, cost estimations, offer evaluations and contractual conditions for seismic acquisition, geodetic control and remote sensing project bids; Identify project needs where satellite remote sensing is the main source of geo-referenced information for exploration goals, including conceptual design, cost estimation, bid evaluation, field supervision, final products and client satisfaction.

Supervision of geophysical acquisition projects, from the preliminary design aspects to the closing agreements, especially those of geodesic control of the 2D & 3D seismic; Led a field survey campaign, to establish a first-order horizontal network for geodetic control based on Transit and GPS satellite measurements; Responsible for planning and operational duties during check-shot and seismic profile services on exploratory wells;Responsible for the administrative control of topographic, geodetic and geophysical services.
