Master's Non-Thesis student at Purdue University studying Industrial Engineering, with a focus on Human Factors & Ergonomics. I conduct research at the NHanCE Lab here at Purdue University. My current work revolves around understanding human interactions with virtual reality. I have previously worked on research studying cognitive workload during an autonomous vehicle takeover request. Additionally, I work for the Technical Assistance Program at Purdue University, helping businesses across Indiana solve their industrial engineering-related problems. Many of the problems I work on relate to facility layout planning, ergonomic improvements, and process optimization. My passion is learning about human interaction with systems. In the future, I look to enter the healthcare industry, designing medical devices that better serve both patients and practitioners. My career goal is to have a significant impact on people's lives by improving their quality of care. For my personal life, I aim to improve my ability to lead a team. I have engaged in multiple teams and leadership positions during my time in college. I feel that collaboration can teach you much about yourself, which only helps you grow. I look to become a better leader so that one day I can make a positive impact on someone’s life just as leaders in the past have done for me.
