About Alexander Yang

I am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of California San Diego. I completed my internal medicine training at the University of Southern California, gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Maryland-National Institutes of Health Clinical Scholars Program and transplant hepatology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. My clinical interests are in the management of complications of cirrhosis, viral hepatitis and autoimmune/cholestatic liver disease. My academic interests are in alcoholic liver disease and liver dysfunction in hematopoietic stem cell transplant, as well as liver manifestations in rare diseases
