As an Honors College student at Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick, I am pursuing a major in Finance with a minor in Quantitative Economics. My journey in finance began at the age of 7 when I opened my first custodial investment account. This early experience ignited a lifelong passion for investing and market analysis, which has shaped my academic and extracurricular pursuits.Throughout high school, I served as the president of the Finance Club, where I not only honed my leadership skills but also developed a comprehensive personal finance curriculum to be implemented as a course. This program empowered students with essential knowledge on topics such as 401(k)s, IRAs, home mortgages, and interest rates.At Rutgers, I am eager to continue exploring opportunities in finance, with the ambition of starting an investment fund that manages portfolios for fellow students. My hands-on experience with equities, combined with my recent foray into derivatives trading, has equipped me with a solid foundation in financial markets.I am proficient in both Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and I’m driven to leverage my skills and knowledge to create impactful solutions within the finance industry. In my free time, you’ll often find me on the golf course perfecting my putting or enjoying the serenity of fishing at local lakes and beaches.
