About Alexander Hocking, Cpa

As the valuation specialist, Alex and his team are responsible for the valuation testing of all investments for the Firm’s funds. He works closely with the engagement team during the audit planning to identify any investments that could pose a high valuation risk. He has experience is the valuation of various types of investments which include but not limited to; mortgage backed securities, equity linked notes, church bonds, SBA 504 First Lien Loans, warrants, complex OTC derivatives, defaulted bonds, asset backed securities, and non-exchange traded instruments. Alex is also responsible for the risk assessment and due diligence performed on all of the Firm’s independent pricing services. In addition, he has experience with the coordination and execution of the audit plan since joining the firm in 2008.
