I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and Sport Scientist who is currently undertaking a Master of Exercise Science (Research). I consider myself to be a professional that aims to empower and help people going through cancer treatment, preparing pre-surgery and recovering post-surgery. I believe this is achieved by prioritising person-centered care, providing evidence-based practice, and by being empathetic. Long term my goal is to reassure my clients that it is safe to move their body so they are able to self-manage, see me less and return to their everyday lives. To add to this, I have also gained experience providing exercise prehabilitation and rehabilitation for individuals with; cancer, provided pre-and post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries, and neurological diseases.
