Consultancy Research Manager
As the Consultancy Research manager for AMA research, I specialised in working at a strategic level, designing, managing, and delivering a range of qualitative and quantitative research projects covering market sizing, brand positioning & health checks, market scoping and new product development research and testing.Operating under a significant degree of autonomy, I was responsible for several projects simultaneously, with each project’s design, timeline, progress delivery and client management generally falling within my scope of responsibilities. Furthermore, on a day-to-day basis, I liaised with , and managed a range of authors regarding projects while also designing and running the collection and management of both primary and secondary data sets. These were achieved through a blend of primary research in the form of surveys, focus groups, interviews, and field trials, along with secondary research, including data gathering and analytical analysis, and studies on company and product information, which required lateral thinking to create and test data sets and market profiles.Some of my responsibilities included;• Analysing information using quantitative and qualitative techniques.• Managing authors, freelancers, consultants, and external resources.• Creating project briefs and proposals.• Maintaining client relationships.• The design and management of projects from start to finish.• The creation and management of the technical set up of surveys, including list management, communication, analytical results breakdowns/tabulations, and process flow to encourage participation.• Designing and writing discussion guides, leading focus groups, and field trials from the initial brief to the final write-up.• Actively mapping data and statistics for use in insights, especially regarding company data and official statistics and reporting.• The manipulation of data sets using Excel, Power BI, etc.• The authorship of reports
