Main responsibilities are Global Risk (FX and Credit) and Corporate Finance (EMEA Intercompany debt and equity financing).Main achievements:- Acquisition of Bureau van Dijk in a €3Bn deal in August 2017: led cross-functional project to determine and consolidate international cash from across a large number of legal entities through a series of dividends and intercompany loans; prepared material on internal funding sources for the purposes of Senior Management and Board updates- Updated FX Risk Management Strategy of the Group, including implementation of Value at Risk approach, redesign of policies and processes- Implemented Treasury Management System for FX Risk Management, Treasury Credit Risk, Intercompany Loan and Bank Guarantee areas; developed operational procedures for the associated processes

Responsibilities in this role included all matters related to Treasury in EMEA region, including Banking (management of strategic banking relationships, bank account and payment infrastructure maintenance and enhancement, support on bank guarantees), Cash Management (cash flow forecasting, investments, counterparty risk monitoring) and Corporate Finance (intercompany funding, FX risk management).Main achievements:- Identified and executed on opportunity to reduce FX transaction costs in EMEA by ~80% through ensuring correct and complete utilization of banking infrastructure, leading the process change with Collections and Payables departments to address the problem and pursue execution in 2016- Led complex multi-million cross-departmental projects to reposition cash within EMEA structure in line with the strategic goals of the group (in 2014, 2015 and 2016)- Set-up term deposit infrastructure to improve counterparty diversification and return on cash balances, doubling return on investments in 2015 and maintaining comfortable exposure to the main banking partner in the region

General Electric is a diversified technology and financial services company. Its financial services business GE Capital provides smart financing to customers coupled with industrial knowledge and experience.In my role as Senior Treasury Analyst (promoted in the role from Treasury Analyst in July 2011), I provided HQ oversight and support to Business Treasury, ensuring availability of adequate equity or debt funding to support business needs within Corporate Treasury Risk appetite and policy framework. I also played an important role in structuring M&A deals in preparation for deal closure as well as restructuring activities.Main achievements:• Led a cross-functional effort of setting-up intercompany funding in order to replace 1Bn EUR worth of covered bonds in France coming to maturity in July 2014• Designed and implemented infrastructure necessary to ensure same-day closing of sale of GE Money Bank in Russia to Sovcombank in February 2014. Led discussions with internal and external parties securing timely receipt, conversion and deployment of ~$0.5Bn of incoming funds• November 2013 – GE Capital CFO Finance Excellence Award – recognised for taking a lead on Treasury work streams and resolving 20 intercompany relationships for a total of $2.5Bn that helped achieving timely liquidation of a Bank Holding company incorporated in the US. The liquidation eliminated duplicate US consolidated supervision, while achieving simplified ownership structure, optimization of capital in the group and removing numerous reporting requirements across 14 teams of GE Capital International• Led resolution of a total of $850MM Negative Equity position across 12 legal entities to allow completion of yearly audit for these legal entities on a going concern basis• Optimised trading systems and associated processes across GE Capital – International establishing effective trading controls, process efficiency and transparency

GE Money Bank AB, now part of Santander Banking Group, was a deposit-taking Swedish bank with Nordic presence providing consumer loans, cards, savings accounts and payment solutions.As part of Nordic Regional Finance Team based in Latvia, I provided Controllership support to the Nordic and Spanish business in the areas of Oracle General Ledger finance period closing, management of intercompany loans and intercompany billing system as well as account reconciliations.Main achievements:• Designed and carried out a project to increase efficiency of internal billing process and make review of certain costs easier for the cost centre owners. Implemented updated process in the Spanish platform allowing the Nordics Centre of Excellence to take over administration of the billing system and introduce an interface between the system and General Ledger to achieve automation of making journal entries• Automated a number of labour-heavy reconciliation and accounting quality control processes through usage of macros to reduce manual work and possible human errors
