Responsible for the staffing, and onboarding of Title 5 and Title 32 technicians for the Massachusetts National Guard. Publish and manage multiple job announcements on USA Jobs and manage applicant flow through an applicant tracking system. Responsible for interpreting state, federal, and local policies regarding merit placement, compensation, and recruiting.

Responsible for managing nationwide programs designed to assist Army National Guard recruiters in completing their mission. Manage a team of three to four personnel and balance workload amongst team members. Other duties include:• Maintaining positive relationships between the Enlisted Strength Maintenance Division and the 54 Recruiting and Retention organizations across the Army National Guard.• Assisting in establishing partnerships with corporate and government partners to assist Army National Guard Soldiers hiring efforts.• Writing and establishing policy on Army National Guard Recruiter best practices on specialized recruiting programs.

Responsible for managing and resourcing over two million dollars worth of government funds for the Recruiting and Retention Battalion. Identify funding shortfalls and prioritize financial and resource needs for the Battalion. Oversee 12 Recruiting storefronts and manage relationships between landlords and Army National Guard recruiting companies.

Responsible for managing a team of 4-5 Officer Recruiters in the Massachusetts Army National Guard, while simultaneously recruiting eligible individuals to become United States Army Commissioned Officers. Involved in recruiting, retention, and marketing strategies in order to maintain and raise overall end strength for the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Responsible for mentoring and providing career management advice to Officer Candidates, ROTC Cadets, and junior Commissioned Officers.

Assist the head Officer Strength Manager with creating packets for incoming Commissioned Officers with the MA-ARNG. Promote and educate MA-ARNG scholarship opportunities and assist Field Recruiters with finding suitable applicants. Assist with marketing and recruitment strategies in order to meet and exceed overall mission.

Responsible for managing Soldiers trained in Human Resource related operations for an organization of 400+ Massachusetts Army National Guard Soldiers. Advised the Battalion Commander on all administrative issues within the organization and provided innovative ways to improve multiple HR-related operations to include Soldier evaluations, awards, and Enlisted and Officer career management.

Produced, edited, and organized photographic content. Assisted the head photo editor in maintaining and coordinating photography events. Developed story ideas and ensured that all photos taken by my staff were submitted in a punctual manner. Finally, I would photograph any and all campus sporting events, concerts, and newsworthy stories.
