Work within an Infrastructure Team to provide ongoing systems support within the corporate infrastructure. Design, Plan, and implement the latest technologies including Dynamics CRM 2011, Exchange 2010, SharePoint 2010, Team Foundation Server 2010, and others.Provide tier 3 administration and support of W2K, W2K3, W2K8 (32bit and 64bit versions) which includes support of IIS Server Farms and multiple SQL clusters. This would include, troubleshooting of advanced complex issues, performance tuning, and system recovery.Provide administration and support of multiple VMware environments.Accomplishments • Designed and implemented Windows 2008 Active Directory Certificate Services• Planned, designed, and implemented successful roll out of Sophos Anti-Virus for the Enterprise to include 350+ servers and 3200 workstations.• Upgraded the environment from Team Foundation Server 2008 on Windows 2003 servers to Team Foundation 2010 on windows 2008 servers including build and proxy servers.• Designed and implemented infrastructure for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 in a multi-server load balanced configuration for 1600+ users.• Assisted in successful implementation of the upgrade for Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010• Assisted in successful implementation of the upgrade for SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010• Participated in the planning, infrastructure design, and implementation of a SAP Re-Platform from Unix to Windows 2003/Windows 2008 and then for an Upgrade Project for SAP ECC 6 for which is currently in progress.• Plan, design, and implement SolidWorks Enterprise PDM and LIMS

Work within an Infrastructure Team to provide ongoing systems support for 400+ servers within the corporate structure.Provide tier 3 administration and support of W2K, W2K3, W2K8 (32bit and 64bit versions) which includes support of IIS Server Farms and multiple SQL clusters. This would include, troubleshooting of advanced complex issues, performance tuning, and system recovery.Provide administration and support of 24 VMware ESX servers representing 200+ virtual servers. All of which are managed through Virtual Center. Additionally plan and perform virtualization of physical servers to reduce footprint. (performed over 150 p2v's using VMware Converter)Administration of internal and external DNS for centex.com and related sites.Engage with Application Teams to for system designs, virtualization, and to resolve outages. McAfee EPO administration for Internal and DMZ domains.Assist in monitoring and maintaining daily backups and tape management using Commvault for data center servers and NetBackup for field servers.Administration of SCOM 2007 for both internal and DMZ domains,Used scripting and other in house support tools to roll out upgrades to existing system baselines.Worked directly with hardware vendors to resolve technical issues and failures in regard to server and SAN hardware and software.

Responsible for overseeing and leadership of a team of 10 UNIX and Wintel system administrators on daily duties in an Enterprise 24/7/365 secured environment with over 1000+ servers. Assign daily duties including project work, monitoring of ticket cues, backup management, and general support of server outages. Administration of VMWare ESX servers, Virtual Center server, and associated VM’s. Work closely with and assist Project Managers in scheduling various multi-tiered projects for deployment within the Washington Mutual network. Work closely with Datacenter Infrastructure team in support of W2K3 Active Directory, DNS, and Terminal Jump servers. Direct and assist team in server hardware builds per project. Advanced use of Microsoft ADS Utility for server OS deployment. Develop and maintain web based server tools for tracking of server information in the Enterprise. Administration of Apache 2.0 Web servers with OpenSSL in support of said support tools.
