As the Head of Service for Procedures Revenue and Expenditure (PRE), I lead and support my Team in fulfilling our responsibilities with dedication and commitment. Our main objective is to facilitate the smooth collection of fees and related payments for national competent authorities in their assessment services. We strive to ensure that data and system management are efficient throughout the entire fees process, including the registration of submitted applications and associated documentation.We are proud to be leading the implementation of the New Fee Regulation (NFR) and supporting the development and roll-out of IRIS. These exciting regulatory updates and IT system enhancements will enable PRE to take the next step and bring us closer to the Finance Department's vision of being a finance business partner, supported by highly automated processes.Stay tuned for updates as the Team and I reflect on the evolution of our ways of working and support we provide to EMA. Worked with the Procurement and Financial Support Team (PFS), together we implemented EMA's financial verification activity and executed the reimbursement and remuneration of experts. Furthermore I deputized for Ulrike Nagl, which entailed driving cross-Finance policy topics (financial business partner, ED & MB documents) and evolving PFS with an eye to evolving quality and scope of PFS support, fostering closer collaboration between procurement and financial support as well as team wellbeing.

2024 my team and I made a difference, enabling the African continental pilot on medicines assessment and inspections under the African Medicines Regulatory Harmonisation Initiative. In addition, we provide technical support and shares its experience with SADC and EAC regions. For 2025 the AMA project will focus on supporting the build-up of the AMA institution, enlarging support to all five sub-Saharan Regions and conclude the continental pilot.Together with the AMA project team, I am building a network of EMA colleagues who are skilled in Human medicines and passionate about supporting the sub-Saharan continent to move towards a more robust and serving health system.

PAR AG: Ensured high quality execution of corporate secretariat processes for the Programming and Resources Advisory Group of the EASA Management Board. Designed and implemented trainings for its members on PAR AG's governance and the Agency in general. Coordinated the preparation of briefings in close cooperation with relevant EASA services. Administered, under strict deadlines, the PAR AG's decision making process, i.e., preparing the annual work programmes, organising meetings and voting procedures. Reported on PAR AG's decisions and actions as well as supervised their implementation.Policy Officer: Advised the EASA Resources and Support Director on strategy and policy issues. Represented the Director in internal and external working groups. Prepared speaking notes for the Director and policy briefs for the Agency's Executive Committee. Implemented programmes on budget management and resource allocation to improve efficiency and general performance of the directorate. Managed framework and specific contracts of up to 3m EUR value.

PAR AG: Introduced SharePoint to digitalise the Agency's collaboration with the PAR AG members. Provided individual and group support to PAR AG members. Strengthened EASA's working relationships with its various stakeholders as the EU Institutions and EASA member states. Transformed the PAR AG into a leaner and more effective advisory body by securing internal and external support for a revised set of procedural rules.Business Programme Officer: Oversaw the execution of the quarterly reporting and advised the Executive Committee on corrective actions. Developed EASA’s multi-annual strategy, business plan and budget. Operationalised it via the annual work programme in close collaboration with the Agency's Executive Committee. Managed the Agency's corporate risk register. As Deputy Project manager of EASA's cost optimisation project, I identified a number of opportunities for rapid digitalization and/or process improvements, which lead to the creation of EASA's transformation programme.
