Leading and designing the contact center data warehouse modernization into the public cloud. Leading multiple technology teams in building out multiple OLAP and OLTP data pipelines from a variety of upstream sources. This modernization will result in massive savings from the contact center as we move from on-premise technologies into the public cloud, while also enabling a variety of new business use cases due to the upgrade in technology. The project is being designed and built out in GCP, using many technologies such as BigQuery, Dataflow, BigTable, Java, Kubernetes, and Kafka.

Consulting company targeting small-scale software development projects. Examples include using cloud computing tools to create APIs and setting up servers for a financial start-up. Developed the frontend and backend to a web application for therapists to connect with clients suffering from PTSD. Lead a team of developers in creating a mobile application in order for people to communicate with each other about local and headline news.

Assisted in leading a team of developers to create middleware to detect fraudulent transactions and clients. As a whole, these products yielded a 10x return on investment for the firm. Worked with strategic partners to outline requirements to help deliver products while also demonstrating new technologies and firm best practices to key stakeholders and other development teams. Was critical in leading the migration from on prem resources to the public cloud using AWS and Terraform making it the first real time risk assessment to go to the public cloud in the firm. Championed modernization and best practices in our products and worked to comply with all regulatory standards set by the firm for new and old applications. These microservices were created using Java, Spring, and Kubernetes, and utilized resources such as AWS, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.

Lead a team of almost a dozen in creating a cross platform mobile application that guides users in analyzing and interpreting news sources as well as creating structured debates. Tasks included working with a marketing team, talking to investors and managing developers. This complex app had multiple systems which analyzed news and separated them by bias, while also revolutionizing the way people communicate about politics online. This includes creating databases and servers to store news information and also asynchronous functions for debate features among users. Worked with Flutter, Firebase, Python, and Amazon Web Services.

Managed a daily surf camp which provides instruction for students aged 5-16. Responsible for the safety of employees and up to 50 students. As a manager, I am required to motivate and organize my staff while making quick decisions in a hectic, unpredictable environment.

Developed a software driver that worked seamlessly to protect databases and detect any changes from bad actors to personal data. This complex system worked 10x faster and provided many more layers of security than previous iterations. It was created using Java, C, Docker and AWS Servers to insert tripwires into a database and protect the information without interrupting the user experience. The project won the first place award for “Best Senior Design Project - Steven’s Computer Science Department May 2021”.

Worked as a full-stack developer for Life Skills Software company. Developed software for special needs students. I designed the UI and used React.js to manage the functionality of the programs for the front and backend.
