I worked as an ads buyer and consultant for a marketing agency based in the United States.I wore many hats, acting as an internal account manager, overseeing ads managers and team membersand providing support with digital marketing campaigns.This was a great experience during 2021, as the team was from around the world and we were all working from home.Eventually, I took on some accounts to manage myself, communicating directly with the client and beingthe main contact point for the marketing agency.Our contract ended when the client wanted to build their internal team and I wanted to remain as a contractor.

I worked with a large team to promote some of the biggest national retail brands with their onlinecampaigns.The budgets were a minimum $30,000 a month, and so the pace of our campaigns were fast and required a lot of care.As a proud team member, I was in charge of ads management and optimization, providing digital adsstrategy, investigating analytics data, and reporting to producers and clients on our results along withrecommendations.Monthly, I would do a deep dive into our data to get a clear understanding of how our campaigns wereperforming compared to the previous month and year.I would then take that information and create a story to share with our team, to make educatedadjustments to our strategy according to our goals and objectives.I decided to move on from Antisocial due to a family issue that I needed to focus on, and was happily resolved. It was a really hard decision, but was best for my loved ones. Antisocial was great during the transition and I highly recommend working for this company!

I managed a team of 6 wonderful teammates and helped to orchestrate strategies that fully utilizes allthe abilities of our client's digital marketing ecosystem according to their needs and resources.Because each company was very different with their goals and budgets, it required us to think on ourfeet. We constantly had to keep coming up with new strategies, and it kept things fun.I also managed a handful of clients myself, which allowed me to fully stay up to date with the fast-paceddigital marketing world and contribute to my team.I was looking for employment and when I got an offer from Antisocial, I decided to become an employee for them and put my contract work on pause.

I worked with Anchor Marketing from nearly the beginning of the agency's creation.It was a very fun experience and the team was very good at their job. This not only improved my ability,but also pushed me to provide the best results and support that I could.Anchor Marketing grew quickly over the time I had the pleasure of working with them, blooming intoa nationwide marketing agency across Canada and finally into the United States, where it eventuallylanded a partnership.At this point and time, we decided to end our working relationship, amicably, as the partnership provided Anchor Marketing with a team of digital marketing experts, and so we did not renew a contract at this point.I was very happy and proud to be involved in the growth of Anchor and continue to monitor their blooming success!

After being hired as a Social Media Manager, I was able to utilize my digital marketing skills and waspromoted to Digital Marketing Specialist.It was the proudest I had been at that point of my short professional career, and I worked hard to learneverything I could about the ever-changing digital marketing scenery.My favourite memory is working with some close teammates on a 12-week campaign for a tradingcard and collectables ecommerce company. We developed a series of videos and an ad strategy tosystematically release our content in a specific order.It really helped that the campaign was very successful, but that was just the cherry on the top.In early 2020, after an internal transition with the management of the company, I decided to take a chance at working more freelance / contract work. The drive to and from work was becoming longer than I enjoyed, and I had a growing network of word-of-mouth friends and family members who were looking for digital marketing services.

My first professional job as a digital marketer. I was hired after gaining my certificates in online marketing from a digital marketing course.This was enough to get my foot in the door, and I was hired as a Social Media Manager.I had never really worked in an office before, and so I was nervous, but the team was very welcomingand I actually am friends with some of them to this day.The attitude of the Social Media Department was very Musketeerian ("all for one, one for all"). It waseasy for me to feel comfortable and do my best work. Everyone was so helpful and supportive, and itreally helped me to understand the value of supporting your teammates.
