-Provide enterprise-wide oversight of the negotiation and execution of KP research agreements including prime research awards and contracts, sub-awards, subcontracts, consultant agreements, clinical trial agreements, material transfer agreements, and data use agreements-Create and implement enterprise structures that enhance monitoring and tracking of regulatory compliance issues as required by contractual agreements-Works closely with legal counsel in the execution of complex and specialized agreements as well as contract negotiations with strategic partners at outside institutions-Serve as subject matter expert in research data privacy, compliance, data transfer, intellectual property terms, and licensing agreements-Recruit, hire and lead contracting and research administration team comprised of contracting professionals, negotiators, and research administrators
