I worked as a front desk representative of the office who would take in calls and forward/reply/send emails, but most of my work consisted of accounts payable duties on Yardi Voyager. I would create purchase orders for vendors who supplied their goods and services and process invoices when they were submitted to Yardi. I would process purchase orders and invoices under the correct account expenses that had budgets, input accurate descriptions, and included HST amounts. There were times when I received invoices from the same company that provided the goods or services, but had different account numbers as Manulife had several with the same company for mutiple reasons; this is when I would make spread sheets on Excel that would keep track of all the different payments for each account.Aside from accounting duties, I would receive news of tenants having issues with their HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, or general maintenance and create work orders for the stationary engineers, security, or cleaners to address the tasks.
