Passionate about research programming but able to finally bring results to production. Fond of writing a new clean code but have experience maintaining a tens-of-years legacy.My current area of interest is document recognition: OCR of high- and low-quality scanned images, low-level PDF parsing, page layout analysis (multicolumn pages, borderless tables, etc.), and some other problems of classic and ML computer vision. Created OCR & PDF recognition system is actively used in production by many enterprise clients.Decent background in computational mathematics. Ph.D. thesis on 3D simulation of wave processes in rigid bodies of complex shapes and rheology. 5 years experience in writing research C++ code, 6 years experience in writing production C++ code. Experience in teaching C++ to MIPT students during my postgraduate education.My favorite stack is Python + OpenCV + PyTorch. Strong knowledge of C++. Some experience in Java, Docker, FastAPI.Good English for professional communication
