Executed commercial development of the Liquid Propane based fuel cell across North America, involving close coordination with senior leadership and cross-functional teams both inside and outside the company.• Led effort to produce the first commercial run of 28 LPG Fuel Cells for deployment at a first of its kind dual fuel site in South Korea.• Closely managed logistical and supply chain related issues during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic to minimize impact to project schedule.• Successfully executed on demanding timelines critical to business success.

Specification and Selection of Balance of Plant equipment for Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cells. Equipment includes Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Centrifugal Blowers, WTS Equipement, Flow Meters, Level Transmitters, other instruments, Control Valves, Solenoid Valves. Other work includes creating P&IDs, leading HAZOPs and DFMEAs, and general Project Management for Cost Saving initiatives and new product development.

• Project Management and Front End Loading (FEL) design work of major capital projects ranging from $500K-4M. Design of both Batch and Continuous processes.• Implementation of SAP Plant Maintenance module at multiple sites.• Creation and maintenance of PFDs, P&IDs, 2D and 3D Building Layout drawings, Heat and Material balances, preparation of CAPEX documents and detailed cost estimates for major capital projects.• Selection and specification of process equipment including blowers, radiant heating systems, reactors, mixers, aerators, level sensors, temperature sensors, diaphragm pumps, vacuum pumps, preliminary ventilation system design, water treatment systems, HEPA filters.• Facilitation of new and revalidation of PHAs including HAZOP, What-If, and LOPA methodologies for process facilities and automated assembly machines.• Complete controls upgrade for Acid Plant to modern DCS based system.

Developed a cost savings of ~$500,000 on new power plant design based on new lower cost component. Identified and found a cost effective solution to an overlooked LEL based safety concern in a new plant revision.Primary responsibilities include creation and maintenance of PFDs, P&IDs, Process Datasheets, Standard Work documentation, and HAZOPs.Sizing/selecting piping and process equipment including heat exchangers, blowers, pumps, etc. for 300kW to 3MW high efficiency power plants. Power plant evaluation through the use of heat and material balances, pressure profile surveys, and specification comparison.Daily troubleshooting and problem solving to determine root causes of operational problems experienced by power plants in the field.

Research in the area of ultra pure hydrogen production for use in fuel cells, specifically on a micro reactor scale. Work involved applying a perfect layer of alumina as an undercoat for an ultra-thin Palladium layer applied through electroless plating method. Trained in the use of mass flow meter, gas chromatography, and use of a calcination furnace. Completed undergraduate thesis in this area of research.
