I have two advanced degrees in International Relations from Webster University in Vienna, Austria and from Warwick University in the UK. I have over seventeen years of previous experience obtained in Austria and in the UK. I have successfully passed the Young Professionals Programme (YPP) with the United Nations under the MAGNET (Management and Administration Track) in 2017. I worked for the recruitment team at UNOG HRMS from October 2021 until June 2024, where I worked on a variety of topics including Job postings, Central Review Bodies, internships, outreach, spousal employment, and anti-racism. I have started a new role in June 2024 as a Programme Management Officer in the Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section at UNODC. The GLO.ACT initiative works alongside partner countries in developing and implementing more effective national and international responses to trafficking in persons and migrant smuggling, especially in Central Asia, the Middle East and South Asia. Prior to 2021 at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV) and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), I have worked in the fields of monitoring, evaluation, accounts, budget, project management, programme implementation, and IT. In the UK, I worked as a researcher at De Montfort University and on project implementation at Coventry University in the fields of international trade, technology transfer, entrepreneurship, and procurement. I have additional experience gained as an intern for the U.S. State Department, and as a market researcher for Wavemetrix Ltd. Additionally, I have co-authored four academic papers that were published in top-ranking peer-reviewed academic journals. My language skills include intermediate German (C1), French (B1) and advanced Slovak and Polish. Additional IT skills include visual and graphic design, SAP, Microsoft Office, WordPress and Content Management Systems.
