I have cultivated a broad range of experience in a variety of industries and sectors, including nonprofit management, advocacy, grant writing, public-private liaising, and entertainment performance and production. As a graduate of the Executive Master program at the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, I am passionate about creating innovative and durable solutions to local challenges, fostering public-private partnerships, workforce development, economic development, and improving access and equity in the arts, culture, and entertainment sectors.As a former film and theater professional, I have leveraged many transferrable skills - including composition, emotional intelligence, and public speaking - with great success. I have been credited by The New York Times for noteworthy performances with distinguished Shakespeare companies, traveled nationwide to teach theater for remote and under-resourced communities, and successfully authored a multi-million dollar grant proposal for publicly supported entertainment subsidies.
