Project Portfolio Manager
Current● Development and initiation of Project Management Governance at PSI with the goal to provide overview and transparency on institute-wide project activities, adequate and useful common standards, and strategies for improved resource planning and usage.● Constitution and implementation of inter-divisional Project Portfolio Management at PSI.● Providing management support for strategic planning, prioritization, integration and coordination of PSI large-scale and inter-divisional projects.● Project management methodology and tools support to project managers. The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland, conducting cutting-edge research in three main fields: matter and materials, energy and the environment and human health. PSI develops, builds and operates complex large research facilities.The heavily matrix-organized operations and project landscape puts ever-high stress on the available resources. With a structured, lean and open project management methodology and governance, my task is to ensure PSI is well prepared for the future and challenges ahead.
