I worked on the development of a distributed, highly load, microservice-based monitoring system with service area of about 80k devices.The project consist of about 50 types of Docker-container images and about 150 hosts.I contributed in the project as an applied architect and project tech lead.Reponsibilities:- Review correctness of architectural, and technical decisions- Decisions on technology stack and libraries- Development of prototype modules for rapid testing of hypotheses and making the right decisions- Analysis of customer requirements for the technical conformity of the product to business requirementsAs main approaches DDD, CQRS, and Event Sourcing were proposed and implemented, especially in places with complex business logic, which at a certain stage significantly reduced costs, due to unification of intermodular interaction, reduction of coupling, and isolation of modules.The team commenced the product trial operation in a short period of time, and then continued the development of the system.I participated in the development of the pipeline of the CI, CD from development to production stands.In support of development infrastructure, I developed and implemented several of plugins for gradle, for integration with Docker and fast build and deployment of the application, which allowed:- Unify commands. From any host and an OS, you could call one and the same command for the build and deploy app.- Reduced required config files from 5 (Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Config Server) to 2 (Git, Gradle), which allowed to improve delivery processes.I took active part in integration the container orchestration technologies using Openshift (3.6, 3.9) at the organization level: developed the scripts for preparing the fleet of machines for installation, performed installation of the platform, testing of use cases, administration and participation in the design of the continuous delivery topology.

I worked on the development of a distributed, highly load, microservice-based monitoring system with service area of about 80k devices.The project consist of about 50 types of Docker-container images and about 150 hosts.I contributed into the project as the leader of the team, the main aim of which was the platform for the system.Reponsibilities:- Requirements analysis- Designing and coding modules and libraries.- Code and solutions reviewing- Support and evolve of the development process in the teametc.We designed, coded and introduced few main system modules:- Security access module with a mixed role-based and attribute-based approach access model.Tech.: - Spring Security, with the reimplementing of the basic interfaces. - Several spring boot services.This allowed to encapsulate access logic, easily integrated into business modules.- Module to receive message from devices.Tech.: Kafka, StormThis allowed to implement the main functionality of the system - obtaining a large stream of events from the devices.I designed and wrote the first version, which was later introduced into the project and was maintained by the team in the future:- Asynchronous message-bus in PUB-SUB mode. Accounting for the domain aggregates, the guarantee of delivery and guarantee of order of delivered messages within the aggregates.Tech.: Kafka, Several Spring boot services.Asynchronous sending made it possible to significantly reduce requests latency.Possibility of subscription allowed to reduce coupling of modules.- Spring Boot libraries (starters) was created to integrate the mechanism for centralised storing logs and metrics. Was deployed the infrastructure for collection.Tech.: - fluentD, logstash, elasticSearch, Kibana for logs - Telegraf, InfluxDB, Grafana for metricsThis allowed in real time to received information about the operation of the system and reduced the response time on problems.and etc.
