I'm a designer-developer and graphics journalist. I use design, code and data to communicate stories, ideas and information on the web. Despite my digital work, pushing pixels, I like to draw inspiration from print design and the craft of physical typesetting. With the creative potential the web affords us, I like the idea of going back to graphic design origins. But when it comes to digital storytelling, I believe news media can be so much more that it often is today. The intersection of tech and journalism sits at this forefront of media innovation, and I'm eager to see where it takes us as consumers and crafters of media.
