Alba Northern Platform Offshore North Sea

During day to day operations tasks can include:• Black start-up of platform from catastrophic shutdown conditions.• Operation and condition monitoring of Production and Utility systems.• Well bay optimisation including; well hand over and void testing of tree, bull heading after SSSV closure, re-establishing flows after scale squeeze, manifold routing to test and clean up separators.• Monitoring of HP/MP hydraulics.• Oil and Gas Separation; control of oil, gas and produced water streams including manifold optimisation with chemical injection, ESD resets during start-up and trip conditions, routine sand wash of vessels.• Control of utility systems • Water Injection, seawater lift systems, deaeration and treatment systems; electro chlorination, anti-foam, oxygen scavenging, system purging with wellhead optimisation.• Monitoring gas turbines and dual fuel changeover of John Brown and Solar Mars including Waste Heat Recovery Units.• Control of services, potable water import, storage and distribution, diesel import, storage and distribution.• Emergency Response Fire Team Leader and member.• Compliance with Chevron safe working practices and procedures and assistance in training new personnel on the Alba Northern Platform.Elected Safety representative for production operations constituency. I have also completed an SNVQ level 3 in Process Operations in Hydrocarbons.Courses completed which contribute to day to day operations include:ISSOW Level 2, Authorised isolator , Confined space entry, First Aid response and Authorised gas tester
