I am a Heriot Watt University Graduate, with an upper second-class MEng degree in Structural Engineering. Throughout my studies, I've developed upon my lifelong passion for the design and creation of the built environment, understanding the processes that are involved in it and expanding my knowledge of other fields of study within civil engineering.In the latter part of my degree I took an interest in the design of sustainable buildings, undertaking a dissertation focused on timber structures and doing a carbon analysis of Banyan Wharf, Hackney as part of a separate course. I was also part of groups that conducted larger feasibility studies into both the reconstruction of an old motorway bridge and the reopening of a disused Edinburgh railway for a new light rail service.
