-Provides direct support to student-athletes; assisting the Sr. Associate AD of Student-Athlete Development and the Athletic Department in creating the best possible experience for the University's student-athlete population. - Implementing a Student-Athlete Leadership Development Program.-Manage and maintain outcomes for Leadership Program(s), Career and Personal Development Plans and Workshops.-Assist in the evaluation of each sports needs to determine specific programming for student-athletes.-Manage new student athlete orientation and transition programs for all new student-athletes.-Utilize University resources, campus organizations and offices to keep programs innovative and provide an exchange of supportive ideas. -Create an assessment tool of programming-to determine outcomes and how to enhance workshops.-Collaborate with Student Athlete Development team to coordinate all department approved community outreach and campus engagement opportunities-while partnering with compliance.-Serve as primary staff advisor for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).-Collaborates in the identification of candidates for SAAC Executive Board, conference representation and awards, as well as institutional and national awards.-Serve as a liaison to the University community and other key departments that have direct involvement with student-athletes.-Assist with an annual report, to showcase the growth and key outcomes of the Student-Athlete Development Office.

Late Night & Weekend Programming -Serve as advisor to the Canes Night Live (CNL) Committee, creating and advertising student-run late night and weekend programs. Develops leadership development opportunities for CNL student leaders. -Works directly with student organizations to develop creative and collaborative late night and weekend programs, creating a consistent calendar of events. Works collaboratively with other departments, providing direction and establishing programming partnerships for the late night and weekend student programs. -Serve as the advisor and financial administrator to the Late Night Funding Grant. -Serves as the primary administrator responsible for the development, coordination, and assessment of campus-wide late night and weekend programming initiatives.Athletic & Spirit Programming -Advise Category 5, the spirit programming board in planning events designed to increase support of the university's 16 athletic teams. -In partnership with Athletics, coordinate football activities for home games including, but not limited to pre-game festivities, tunnel crew, student section activities, and promotions.Financial & Administrative Responsibility -Negotiates, reviews, and executes all necessary event contracts by working closely with Financial Operations, Risk Management, Purchasing, and the Office of General Counsel. Coordinates logistics, publicity, and interaction between University, University Facilities, Act/Agent, and appropriate vendors. -Assist in managing accounts working closely with staff in Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Disbursements to ensure goods and services are acquired and paid through approved University processes. Monitor effectiveness of events through development and implementation of assessment instruments. -Coordinate on-campus gourmet food trucks for campus events including Orientation, Homecoming, Canes Carnival, and other events as requested.

•Advise Student Programming Council on selection, promotion, implementation and evaluation of programs such as: Comedy, Concerts, Lectures, Special Events, Homecoming & Saluki Family Weekend•Manage $220,000 university programming budget, contracting and purchasing procedures for 22 programming accounts•Served as Coordinator of Student Programs during administrative staff changes•Supervise 13 student programming directors and 4 Graduate Assistants

•Served as Coordinator of Program during senior year of undergraduate career•Created an endeavor of Southern Illinois University that seeks to meet the academic, professional, and cultural needs of black male students on campus.•Created program for 20+ black male students to participate in 2012-2013 Living Learning Communities(LLC), including program components, activities, requirements, and leadership training•In charge of general administration, budget management, and operation of Center for Inclusive Excellence

•Supervised 8 student workers, 1 secretary, and 1 Graduate Assistant•Collaborated with Hispanic/Latino Resource Center, and LGBTQ Resource Center in efforts to increase cultural diversity at SIU•Developed budget, programs, lectures, and community events to assist with building diversity amongst the Carbondale community and the campus of SIUC
