Working in hospitality for six years at the Cottage Bakery in McLaren Vale my roles and responsibilities have included, food and beverage preparation, customer service, housekeeping, responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day money management, and management of inventory. I would bring to any position my valuable experience in delivering high quality customer service in a fast-paced workplace environment.Following in which starting in 2022 I have continued my hospitality experience working at Vigna Bottin, with various roles including bar staff, management of inventory, supervisor, educator, and wine merchant. I have also volunteered in a local environmental group YACCA (Youth and Community in Conservation Action) for over 9 years, in which time I developed and initiated my own youth group “YACCAlings” for younger children. Following this, in 2020 I was employed as a youth group leader within the YACCA program, teaching children about the importance of biodiversity and conservation with relevant topical environmental issues and solutions. This role significantly developed my leadership qualities and communication skills.I have lived in Willunga all my life and have developed a passion for this district as an active member in my community, being school vice-captain at Willunga High School, the YACCA program, and working at the Cottage Bakery in McLaren Vale. Studying chemistry and materials science, I intend to work in the wine industry after completion of my course and would love the opportunity to be a part of your business to gain an understanding of how the wine industry works.
