I’m a tenacious and hard worker. I can always get the job done and I’m eager to learn new skills and I take pride in being an outstanding worker in more then just one place. At ITT I started as a chipper/grinder grinding metal parts for imperfections and wearing M-400 respirator. I was then moved to a different location on the mold production line closing molds. I quickly became proficient at this with the help of my trainer Dave. They made me aware I was one of 4 people in the whole foundry who can close molds efficiently by their self. After this I was moved to the part of the production line where the molds are painted and cleaned up/drilled with vents to prepare them to be closed and then poured. I took to this process quickly and often got ahead of my work and had time to work on other tasks, help other employees, and learn other jobs. I learned how to create the molds with the sand and level/pack it down, use viewease to check process for each mold and how to keep up a fast steady pace.
