I was contracted by IUAV to translate academic articles, press releases, and web copy as part of the government-funded research project FABBRICrafter. This project primarily focuses on the future of fashion - ideating sustainable practices and their present and potential applications in Venice. More specifically, it addresses how fashion and tourism may play a part in reimagining Venice in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. I am currently working on an English translation of Egle Rinata Trincanato's monograph, Venezia Minore (Uncelebrated Venice). Our collaboration is ongoing.

I work with Carpe Diem's directors and content team to shape the company's SEO strategy and expand its digital presence. This mainly involves devising, creating, and curating blog content, drafting newsletter flows and blasts, and crafting LinkedIn content to drive engagement, create leads and conversions, and position Carpe Diem as a pioneer of sustainability in mainstream tourism.

My role as an SEO Consultant consists of—but is not limited to—drafting marketing plans for clients; ad hoc authoring of blog posts; checking and optimising link structures (permalinks, anchors, overall site architecture); auditing, proofreading, and consolidating web content; copy editing to ensure quality and consistency, identifying room for improvement in content and devising the agency's digital strategy.

I lead private and group tours of the Via Appia Antica and Aqueduct Park - two sites in which I have specialised since graduating with my Roman History MPhil from Oxford University. I enjoy guiding as it allows me to meet new people from all walks of life and keep my public speaking and communication skills sharpened while sharing & sustaining my passion for history.

I devised and drafted content for a range of target audiences and through various digital channels. I supported the communications team in refining Slow Food's communication strategy and bolstering engagement - ensuring clarity and tone of voice across all communications and collaborating with the team to create campaign material, web copy, newsletters, comment pieces and press releases. I was also responsible for drafting and proofing English editorial material, such as the annual report, advocacy presentations, and information booklets, and for drafting opinion papers for senior Slow Food figures.

I was contracted by the University of Tuscia (UNITUS) to create and deliver a B2-level English course for undergraduates of Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning at UNITUS and Roma Sapienza University. The hybrid course was structured around 10 weekly seminars of 4 hours each, which took place on Zoom and in presence, at Roma Sapzienza's Faculty of Architecture.I adopted a flipped classroom approach which encouraged group discussion and presentations alongside research and debates about international landscape architecture projects (case studies). The way we approached these case studies was to test them against our own definition of a 'successful landscape architecture project', which we agreed was something that satisfied various ecological, economic, aesthetic, and community-related criteria. As well as addressing grammar and vocabulary, I also dedicated time towards sharpening students' writing skills by making them draft mock cover letters for real-life landscape architecture internships. My final role, as an examiner, was to assess the students through oral exams, based on the case studies covered during the course, and a listening exam - which I designed to test their comprehension skills and acquisition of subject-specific vocabulary.

I worked with Revolver Records and its sister company Revolver World to consolidate their digital catalog and expand their online presence. This involved redesigning their websites, improving SEO and UX, and auditing and managing the social media accounts of both Revolver Records and its sister label, Heavy Metal Records. I also led a grant-writing project which secured the company £54,000 of Arts Council UK funding.Most of my work involved creating and editing content (written, video, and graphic), posting daily on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and liaising with Revolver's current catalog of artists to agree upon social media strategies that adhered to an editorial calendar.

I was responsible for creating, curating, and optimizing all content for Walks Inside Rome and its luxury brand, Italy with Class. While this initially involved copywriting, graphic design, social media management, and video production for our websites, blogs, and external communications, the role later expanded to cover email marketing, press liaisons and outreach, and product development.

I wrote SEO-friendly content on a range of business related subjects, from AI and machine-learning to digital media and brand strategy. Our international clientele includes companies from Italy, the US and Madagascar.

I was a lead content writer and researcher for the startup app Time Travel Rome.My job involved researching sites and settlements from across the Roman Empire –– from modern-day Spain in the west to Syria in the east and from Libya in the south to Britain in the north –– and writing a concise but engaging history for each, suggesting what to see there, assigning a rating, and recommending further reading. I researched and wrote all content for the city of Rome (its temples, amphitheaters, aqueducts, obelisks, gates, walls, arches - anything that's left a trace) as well as documenting hundreds of provincial sites in Italy and abroad.

My teaching experience spans eight years (I still continue with private tuition) and encompasses all ages and abilities. In Florence, most of my teaching involved 1-1 business English with the directors of the pharmaceutical company Menarini, preparing students to sit IELTS and Cambridge First proficiency examinations, and teaching teenagers at local schools in the Florence area, including Poggio Imperiale, Marco Polo, and La Scuola Secondaria Statale di Primo Grado Sandro Botticelli.

I produced SEO-friendly content for the Italian tour company Roman Candle Tours. My expertise lay in Florence, where I spent five years, and covered the renaissance city's history, art, cuisine and wider culture. I also published extensively about Rome, where I now live, Venice, Bologna, Matera and the cultural curiosities therein.

I worked at the Museo e Istituto Fiorentino di Preistoria as an intern on a Leonardo Da Vinci Mobility Programme. My role consisted of editing academic articles, translating or editing students' theses abstracts (the institute was associated with the University of Studies, Firenze), translating the museum guide from Italian to English, and translating didactic descriptive texts into English at the prehistoric archaeological site "Grotta del Romito" in Calabria.
