Managing day to day operations at TFL’s home farm, including staff, machinery operations, grain/seed and onion storage. The farming business extends to 2,000ha of cropping and alongside this role is managing the trucks and drivers for all aspects of the business.

Managing and organising the small fleet of trucks and drivers. Transporting all of TFL’s seeds, grains, onions and bales to different locations around Canterbury and the South Island.

Running the day-to-day farming operation of the Mid Canterbury block for Turley Farms Ltd. 1,000ha of pivot and lateral irrigated cropping land growing small seed crops, cereals and vegetable crops. Managing staff, the irrigation program, the harvest and storage of crops.

The family farming business. 350ha of livestock and arable farming alongside some diversification. Lambing around 1,200 commercial ewes indoors and growing some cereals and oilseed crops. The diversification side of the business includes commercial property and storage, DIY horse livery yards and some residential property.

A full-time contracted position operating a combine harvester for Norman Court Contracting of Velcourt in West Tytherley on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border. 100% arable area consisting of 2,700ha.
