Aligned spending with goals.✅ Spearheaded extensive cross-campus merger, which included developing a newly designed Active Directory to a new domain name and transitioning 60K email boxes into a single MS Office 365 tenant.✅ Led integration of TeamDynamix, a new helpdesk system, which provided insights and statistics on IT KPIs.✅ Created a new layout supporting a streamlined tiered services approach across the team, including levels of support and standardized job descriptions/position classifications.

As a leader for long-range and near-term strategic planning, as well as operations management and emergency response, I ensured quality, efficient, and compliant technology services across this university serving 11,965 students and 1675 staff in 5 locations. I championed cybersecurity best practices by safeguarding data and university assets, conducting Information Security Risk Assessments, and designing, updating, and changing information security policies. As the owner of Client Services, Network Services, Systems administration, and Telecom, I drove compliance, excellence, and strategy. My achievements included the following:✅Minimized loss of FTE across 2 years of COVID-related remote learning by proactively optimizing LMS, hosting technology training, and securing VPN accounts, intranet access, and Zoom licensure for staff.✅ Achieved compliance with overdue mandatory statewide IT security audit by directing revision of all security and operations policies and procedures to demonstrate merger and integrated university.✅ Reduced costs by mid-six figures by replacing standard desktops with VM & VDI across multiple labs.✅ Delivered a $25M security grant in the wake of Virginia Tech to establish Mansfield as one of the first organizations to tie video footage to identity access cards.

I improved asset tracking, enhanced technical utilities, created policy and service level agreements, and designed/deployed new servers and storage systems by collaborating across departments, driving enterirpise-wide network performance, data security, and functionality.My achievements included the following:✅ Replaced cross-training approach with allocated geographic regions of support, which reduced burnout, fostered teamwork, and enhanced workforce engagement by allowing an equitable workload across a small group of 5 technicians.

I was selected to represent the university in the state government by analyzing technology policies for the state. I also co-created a statewide criminal justice tracking system implementing technology (JNET) and collaborated to revamp the state drug and alcohol policy.
