As a Computer Science major with a minor in Economics, I am passionate about leveraging my technical and analytical skills to help drive business success. My long-term career goal is to work in a leadership position at a company, where I can apply my expertise in both fields to help drive innovation and growth.In my coursework and practical experience, I have developed a strong foundation in data analysis and software engineering. One example of this can be found on my projects page, where I created a website to analyze large amounts of twitter data and find trends in cocktail consumption. My Economics minor taught me a deeper understanding of economic principles and their application to international companies. Two of my favorite courses have been international trade and international finance, where I learned to determine best courses of action given world markets. Beyond my academic pursuits, I have a diverse range of interests, including skiing and philosophy. Through my experience working in customer service jobs, I have developed strong organization and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. For example, while working at multiple busy restaurants, I learned how to communicate effectively with a team of servers, cooks, and managers to ensure that orders were delivered accurately and efficiently.
