Job requires mechanical testing of metal parts, including tensile, bend, shear and charpy impact testing as well as the creation of test design of all parts. All testing is done according to the required specifications or customer requirements including but not limited to ASTM, SAE and BAC. This position requires knowledge on the properties of materials tested and when to reject testing if the test piece is not up to standard. This position also required the ability to read and write purchase orders, as well as writing reports according to the purchase order and test results.
