I am a dedicated student at the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Majoring in Public Financial Management and Minoring in Spanish. I am deeply committed to merging my passions for finance and Spanish into a cohesive career path. My journey as a Spanish-American has instilled in me a profound proficiency in both languages, enabling me to navigate diverse environments with ease and precision.Three words that I would use to describe myself are ambitious, persistent, and communicator. However, throughout my academic and professional journey so far, I have honed invaluable skills in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. From orchestrating group projects at Indiana University to leading maintenance teams at East Potomac golf course and managing high-volume service at a popular restaurant on Capitol Hill, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to thrive in dynamic settings. Notably, my time as a 1st Lieutenant in my high school's JROTC program equipped me with the skills to lead a platoon of 30 cadets and facilitate numerous team-building exercises.As I chart my course towards internships in finance, I am eager to leverage my strengths in communication, adaptability, and resourcefulness. I seek an environment that not only challenges me but also nurtures my ability to think on my feet and devise innovative solutions.
